The week that ended Feb. 19 at 6 am finished better than it started. By the end of the week the amount of snow cover had greatly diminished as temperatures were well above freezing.
Volunteer weather observer John Beltz reported an inch of snow for the week and .2 inch of precipitation. Low temperature for the week was -5 degrees and the high temperature was a welcome 49 degrees during the day Thursday.
